Fireworks as Nationwide Launch New Website
Nationwide Accident Repairs today launched their new website, www.nationwiderepairs.co.uk, packed full with information, help and an online estimating system for light vehicle damage which allows the visitor to upload photos of their damage and request a cost for repairing their pride and joy.
Designed with customers at the fore, the new website focuses on assisting customers at every step of the repair process, whether they require an address of their nearest Repair Centre, need a quick estimate for the repair of a scratch or dent, want to request a quote for glass repair or replacement, or are a Fleet Manager needing to speak to someone about accident management for their fleet, the website accommodates. In addition, Nationwide retained one of the old site’s features; customers whose vehicle is already in one of the 63 Repair Centres can still track the progress of their repair online using the Track Your Repair feature.
The new website is only one part of Nationwide’s comprehensive technology programme, as Chief Executive Michael Wilmshurst explains “We have invested significantly in IT over the last three years, to develop industry leading IT platforms that integrate across all parts of the business. We are now in a position to take our integrated technology to the next level, and providing an online platform that enables online estimating, two-way communications and real-time vehicle repair status all in one place is one step further in our programme. A programme which combines customer service and the online space, results of which can already be seen through our position as the highest rated UK Accident Repair company on the review centre, with a 4.3 star rating.”
With the significant increase in the use of smart phones, the site has been designed ‘mobile first’, but represents only the first of many steps for Nationwide in improving their online presence. Future developments will follow, and the online platform will continue to evolve as customer behaviour patterns change, to ensure that Nationwide deliver solutions for their customers as a priority.
